Extremely Fine 1907 King Edwards VII Half Gold Sovereign

THIS VERY COLLECTABLE HALF GOLD SOVEREIGN. IS IN AN EXTREMELY FINE CONDITION.

Obverse: King Edward VII's portrait by George W. George on horseback holding short sword, the horse rearing to right over a fallen dragon which has a broken lance in its chest; in exergue, the date, 1907 and the artist's initials B. For Benedetto Pistrucci no letter above the date indicates the sovereign was produced in London.
